High strength does play a major role in the design of FRP equipment.
-Resistant to high temperature, pressure and chemical :
FRP can be made entirely from the composite, or a second liner can be used chemical corrosion & high temperature requirement of the equipment PTFE, PFA, ECTFE, PVDF, HDPE, PP, PVC & CPVC are used as common thermoplastic liners.
-Non Conductivity
Having non-conductive properties isn’t only good for buildings. It’s also a great benefit in the automotive world, chemical plant & oil and gas plant.
